China’s productivity miracle: TVEs stands for “Town & Village Enterprise” in China. TVEs include enterprises that operate in industry, construction, transportation, commerce, trade and agriculture, that is, almost the entire rural economy. TVEs showed an annual average growth of 8-10 per cent. TVEs are considered to be the driver for China’s productivity miracle.
